Feces and urine are two waste products that come
under Apan Vayu (the downward direction of vata dosha) which improves the lower
body portion organs and its functions like menstruation, defecation, urination
and reproduction. Malasana keeps Apan Vayu activated and energetic.
This is downward flow of prana that is Apana
Vayu. Malasana helps to balance saman Vayu, Apan Vayu and Pachak pitta.
